ZEN AMA Global Sponsors Women’s Month Business Grant

As part of its ongoing commitment to advancing women’s economic empowerment, Zen-AMA Global Springs Development Services (GSDS) has launched the International Women’s Month (IWM) Women Entrepreneurs Business Grant, a flagship initiative designed to support and scale women-led businesses across Nigeria.

The IWM Grant, launched in March 2025 to commemorate International Women’s Month, provided targeted support to 25 outstanding women entrepreneurs carefully selected from a pool of over 400 applicants. The selection process prioritized innovation, business sustainability, and measurable community impact, ensuring that the beneficiaries represent the best of women-led enterprise in Nigeria.

Through the program, each grantee received financial assistance, mentorship, and access to professional networks to help strengthen their business capacity and enhance long-term growth.

A post-award feedback survey revealed that the business grant had a significant impact on the participating businesses. Beneficiaries reported increased productivity, higher business visibility, and greater confidence in managing operations. Several women also highlighted that the business grant enabled them to expand production, create jobs, and improve product quality within their communities.

One grantee shared, “The Zen-AMA business grant gave me the financial lift and confidence I needed to take my business to the next level. It’s not just funding — it’s empowerment.”

Speaking about the initiative, a Zen-AMA GSDS representative emphasized that the program aligns with the organization’s mission to foster inclusive, data-driven, and sustainable development. “Our goal is to ensure that women entrepreneurs are not only included in the economic space but are equipped to lead it,” the representative said. “This business grant reflects our ongoing commitment to empowerment, innovation, and sustainable development.”

Through the IWM Women Entrepreneurs Business Grant, ZEN-AMA GSDS continues to promote women’s participation in Nigeria’s economic transformation agenda. The initiative turns the spirit of International Women’s Month into concrete, measurable impact, creating opportunities for women to thrive, innovate, and inspire future generations.
